Overview

FOWO helps you focus with Mission Mode, Focus Shield, and a Focus Timer. We collect minimal data and keep core functionality (your Mission goals, progress, and blocking settings) entirely on your device.

Data We Collect

• Your Mission goals, daily targets, and progress, stored locally on your device only
• Your blocking preferences and settings, stored locally on your device only
• App usage data used to enforce limits, processed locally and never transmitted
• Anonymous crash reports and analytics, collected only to improve the app

Accessibility Service

FOWO uses Android's Accessibility Service (shown as "Fowo" in system settings) to power Mission Commitment and Focus Shield, detecting when you open a blocked app and redirecting you to the intervention screen. This is processed locally and never sent to external servers. We do not read typed text, passwords, messages, or screenshots.

Usage Access

Usage Access permission is requested to display app usage statistics within the app. This data stays on your device and is not shared.

Third-Party Services

• Google Play Billing, for Pro subscription and free-trial management
• Google AdMob, used to serve ads that may appear in the app

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to any third party.
